Dear Anthony and Steve, I was so sorry to learn of George’s passing. I know, though, that he was ready and his body was tired. He was so lucky to have you both, and, Anthony, without your bedside nursing, his quality of life would not have been as good as you made it for him! I’m keeping you guys in my prayers! Take care!

Anthony, Brooks & I are thinking of you. We love George. I owe so much to him & Joan for really breaking me into show business. It was on the job training. Through miller-reich I have met treasured friends, George being at the top. Love, Kelly.

When you arrange the cancan in Paris for the New York Folies, you made me to leap-frog over 3 girls to land in a split, then over 4 into a split and then over 5 to finish in a split. Until that moment, I had never been able to leap-frog!——— I even had a fear of leap-frogging! But how could I say that to you standing on the stage of the Folies Bergere in front of everybody with Gyarmarthy sitting in the stalls. So I took «the bull by the horns» ran and jumped. From that time, the ‘trick’ was always part of my cancan solo. A big Thank You. Gerry Atkins.

George and Anthony………what a beautiful pair! We worked together in Sarasota………total gems! There was, in both sets of eyes, the gleam of youth, the treasure of assurance, the grace of good living! What lovely gentlemen! We are thinking of you every day, Anthony. Love, J and J.

George: We crossed paths many years ago in San Juan, Puerto Rico, ’70. Thank you for being so kind and I’ve always admired your artistry. You were one of many people that influence me to become what I am today. Thank you! …Until we meet again.

Dear George and Joan, I remember the crazy old studio where I auditioned for George in NYC and was offered my first Miller-Reich job. The weeks of rehearsal with both of you were always my favorite part of the gig. I loved learning the new numbers. After rehearsing in Miami the “acts” arrived, one of which was the exuberant young juggler Mark Nizer. Mark and I hit it off with a wonderful friendship and lots of laughs even though we were attached to others at the time. Over time we became a couple, going from Miami to the Caf’ Conc in Montreal and then the Baltimore Travel Plaza. While in Baltimore we were engaged and then married with the entire cast attending the wedding. Mark went on to work in the Atlantic City show and I then did the Royal Caribbean industrial across Canada. We had so much fun during those years and made some life long friends. Thank you both for giving us the opportunity to perform and pursue our dreams. For Mark, performing his 12 minute set, 13 a shows a week for years, strengthened his show and consistency which resulted in him winning the International Juggling Championships. He does his one man 90 minute show today all over the world. We’ve been married for 24 years and have three daughters, (need any juggling showgirls?) Love, Scott and Mark Neisser (Nizer).

George and Joan if it wasn’t for the two of you I wouldn’t be who I am today! George you taught me how to be a wonderful partner and your adagio skills that I learned thru you have been a blessing thru my dance and teaching life. It still lives on thru me as I teach up and coming dancers all the wonderful things that I learned from you! You are and will always be my inspiration! I love you and thank you! Joan you taught me to dance “Joan Palethorpe” style and that had always been my passion. I am so blesses that I can do your style the way you want and make you proud. You are my dance guru! And I teach your wonderful style still today! It makes you feel like a real dancer!!! George and Joan thank you for being such an important part of my life. Without the two of you I wouldn’t be ME! I love you both! See you in April!!!

Hello George, Just booked my trip over the weekend to attend this reunion in your honor! Looking forward to seeing you and some of the long lost gypsies of days gone by! I have always used “Mary” on my daughters when they are less than spectacular; I had forgotten it came from your gentle coaching! See you soon, xo.

Sorry that I can’t make your reunion. The Tailors finally gave up on designing a new tutu. If you remember, Sharon and I were 2 of your first dancers a few years ago. See you at the beach.
